CRIPT – Contemporary Research in International Political Theory - is one of BISA’s longest operating working groups, established in the 1990s. Its main purpose is to foster research in international political theory.
In this regard, CRIPT aims to offer a platform for discussions and forums for scholars interested in the application of critical and normative socio-political theory to world politics. It is also keenly committed to supporting the work of postgraduate and early-career researchers and sponsors events that provide career development opportunities for the next generation of theoretically oriented IR scholars.
