The FPWG welcomes all to its first virtual event for this academic year. Join us for an interesting discussion about the priorities of the Armenian Foreign Policy in the fields of foreign, defence, and security as well as the relations between Armenia and major international actors, such as the United States, the European Union, and Russia. Ambassador Makunts will speak about the major foreign and security policy challenges facing the Republic of Armenia.  Professor Stivachtis will provide an assessment of the European Union’s policy towards Armenia with particular emphasis on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Professor Yannis A. Stivachtis, Professor of Political Science, Jean Monnet Chair, and Director of the Virginia Tech Jean Monnet Center of Excellence for European Union, Transatlantic, and Trans-European Space Studies (CEUTTSS).
