Dr Hannah Hughes
Our esteemed workshop facilitator, is deeply committed to addressing environmental challenges and understanding the complex interplay between political, economic, and social systems. With a focus on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES), she explores the dynamics of knowledge, power, and environmental action. Dr Hughes draws from the sociology of Pierre Bourdieu to examine social order reproduction and the ethical dimensions of scholarly methodology.
