Working group end of year report 2023/24

Working groups are at the heart of what we do, and as such it is important that our trustees, members and the wider BISA community know more about the important research and activities that are put on over the course of the year. We, therefore, require all working groups to complete an annual report which will be shared with the trustees and used to gather information to inform other interested parties. The report should take account of activities during the UK academic year - September to August.

This year's report should consider the period 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2024. However, we know that most groups will take a well-deserved break during August, so please complete the report as soon as you can once your final activities have taken place. The deadline is 1 September 2024.

If you require any help completing the form, please contact Katie: Katie.Burt@bisa.ac.uk

The reports will be shared at the September 2024 Executive Committee meeting, and we will also create a working group review page for the BISA community, so they can stay up to date with our activities.

Finally, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your hard work over the past year.

The following details are required:
  • Name of event
  • Purpose of event
  • Was it virtual or in-person?
  • Joint collaborators
  • How many people registered?
  • How many people attended?
Did your group receive any funding this year?
Have you held an Annual General Meeting over the course of the reporting period?
Other than event webpages, have you updated or added pages to your BISA website section this year? (Answer yes even if you sent text/images to a BISA staff member and we published the page on your behalf))
We would like to know, for example, if you have posted blog articles, calls for papers, interviews, videos, event reviews, working group prize nomination call, podcast etc. It would also be helpful to add the frequency.
Have there been any changes to the conveners during the reporting period?
