Security Policy and Practice
To join a working group you must first join BISA.
The Security Policy and Practice (SPP) Working Group aims to build relationships between academic, practitioner and policymaking communities on issues pertaining to UK security policy and practice, broadly understood. In partnership with Rethinking Security – a network which brings together UK civil society, activists, NGOs and academics to explore alternatives to current UK security policy and practice – this working group aims to strengthen and facilitate a policy-engaged dialogue on UK security, which prioritises a plurality of theoretical and political lenses, including historically more marginalised voices.
