Legality and legitimacy of INGOs - 2016/17 workshop review

The BISA NGO Working Group held their 2016 Annual Workshop in January 2017. The workshop was titled Legality and legitimacy of INGOs and the keynote speaker was David Moore from the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL). This workshop, held at the University of Manchester, brought together a variety of academics and practitioners of international standing to debate the growing legal encroachments on civil society space, including representatives from Save the Children and Amnesty International.
