An update from the European Journal of International Security

This article was published on

Our journal European Journal of International Security (EJIS) bring you their latest updates.

January brought a lot of new material to EJIS. Some of our new open access articles include Ian Klinke exploring whether Ostpolitik has been dismantled or simply remains on hold, Chukwuma exploring the construction of terrorism via evidentiary practices, through the examination of terrorism trials in Nigeria, and Puyvelde and Tabárez Rienzi making quite a significant case for OSINT reflecting an evolution of traditional intelligence practices: the collection, processing, analysis and dissemination of vast amounts of information. Meanwhile, Depledge and Santos draw on semi-structured interviews with 46 officials and armed forces personnel to analyse the transition to ‘low-carbon warfare’, whilst Haspeslagh asked what happens to 'terrorists' stuck on terrorist lists?
