If you missed our 'Artificial intelligence: Thinking beyond the headlines' session, which is part of our 2024 undergraduate event series, you can catch up on the talk by multi-award winning senior lecturer Peter Finn by watching the recording below.

In this session Peter Finn explores the role of AI in academia, not only its impact but also how students can engage critically with tools of generative artificial intelligence. He begins the session by discussing the current context international affairs and the workplace. Later shifts the talk into understanding the boundaries of AI , stressing the importance of ensuring that you can write well and analyse without AI as well as recognising when your work ends and AI begins.
