British Academy Politics and International Relations report launch
This event will celebrate the publication of Politics and International Relations Provision in UK Higher Education from the British Academy, the UK’s national academy for the humanities and social sciences.
Co-sponsored by the British International Studies Association (BISA) and the Political Studies Association (PSA), the launch event will include a panel discussion on the report’s main findings and implications followed by a drinks reception. We are delighted to have Dr Al Pinkerton MP chair the panel discussion, and we will hear from Professor Dibyesh Anand (Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Professor of Politics and International Relations, University of Westminster), Michelle Doyle-Wildman (CEO of PSA), and Professor Peter John FBA (Head of the School of Politics and Economics and Professor of Public Policy, King's College London).
This report is the latest in a series of disciplinary-focused reports that sits within the British Academy’s SHAPE Observatory. Politics and International Relations Provision in UK Higher Education examines the interest in the discipline from pre-university education to the academic profession, providing insights into student numbers, the changing demographics of staff and students, and the research landscape.
Tickets will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis so make sure to register for the event. The panel will start at 6pm, so please make sure to arrive before.
