IR career starters - April 2025

New month, new opportunities! April is usually a somewhat quiet month as most of the spring internship intakes have concluded and the pre-summer push has yet to begin for general recruitment.
The IR domain is still adjusting to the negative ramifications of suspending most of USAIDβs global programming. At the far end of it all, we can note that the US market remains particularly sluggish as new domestic policies are causing a paradigm shift across its entire IR ecosystem.
For the newsletter, this continues to mean low yields of opportunities and, sadly (perhaps a connection), relatively poor engagements with both newsletter growth and reach.
