In this Foreign Policy Working Group online event which took place on 5 May 2023, a very interesting publication by Kaleem Hussain is discussed. It aims to analyse the interfaces of the international rules’-based order interfacing with the systems of international law and Islamic law in selected conflict theatres around the world. Among others, it covers foreign policy dynamics, law, politics and diplomacy pertaining to Afghanistan, Kashmir and Palestine-Israel intertwined with aspects of theological reasoning.
