New postgraduate working group convenor

The South East Europe Working Group (SEE WG) is pleased to welcome Nina Djukanović as the postgraduate co-convenor. Nina will replace Tony Horne, whose leadership during the pandemic and afterwards was most inspiring.
Nina has been an active working group member, and her contributions at the BISA annual conferences and the SEE WG events have been impactful. Nina is an environmental geographer whose research examines the relationship between extractivism, environmental justice, and contested understandings of sustainability and green transition.
As a postgraduate co-convenor, Nina seeks to voice the needs of our postgraduate community and ensure the SEE WG can support them in advancing their research and skills.
