Introduction

This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and safeguard the anonymous data you provide through this Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) questionnaire.

The anonymous data will help us understand the demographics and backgrounds of applicants, and identify any barriers they may face, allowing us to implement strategies to promote inclusivity.
Legal basis for processing
The legal basis for processing your data is Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR, which allows for processing when it is necessary for the legitimate interests of the Data Controller. In this case, our legitimate interest is to improve the inclusiveness of our funding and grant application processes. Since the data is collected anonymously, no personal data is processed that could identify any individual.
Anonymity and data security
The data you provide in this questionnaire is entirely anonymous. We do not collect any personally identifiable information, and your responses cannot be traced back to you.
